A little over a month ago I drew and posted a dramatic little picture of what I look like overwhelmed. Called the post Being Pulled in a Dozen Directions
All these Arrows of Ideas and Obligations were coming out of my head. Plus I looked like I was holding my head in exasperation. Like “What should I do?” “Where do I start?” “Help!”
That pleading and complaining post of mine unleashed the most absolutely creative two and a half weeks that I have experienced in a long time.
It’s been amazing. Everything happened so fast and came together so magically.
- I created a new Landing Page which functions much better.
- Created the Stories Only website
- And better yet – thought of and launched the Ninjanimals Kidz for Schools website.
- My Facebook issues haven’t changed much, other than the realization that my personal pages need to become more professional and less personal.
- I posted “The Story of Bixie and Tiki” to all three N-Kidz sites.
- Storyboarded three more stories and got them off to Hatem, who has already produced the Sketches for all three!!!
- I didn’t blog, but I should have. Because there has been so much going on, there would have been lots to talk about.
- I did have a Twitter Page designed, but clueless about how to use it…
Additionally, after I launched the beta version of the new n-kidzschools.com and n-kidzstories.com sites, I hired a Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) teacher with 20 years experience to clean up my stories and make them grammatically correct. What a relief to take this step.
So I have been very busy – and know that ask and you shall receive is no joke!
Every day I ask myself, “How does one girl get to be so lucky?”
Working on Ninjanimals Kidz is like playing a fun and colorful game! It’s so enjoyable for me. I can do what I want, when I want, and how I want to. I get to play with color and play with Photoshop. I have found an amazing and dedicated Artist to do all the “heavy lifting” artwise. There is this continual flow of creative ideas and inspiration.
Everything has happened in the most amazing way.
Thank you and Gracias
Rachel
